Tech Center Classroom

The Tech Center Classroom (TCC) may be reserved by goverment and non-profit groups for small  civic, cultural, or educational programs when it is not being used for a library activity.

Projector & Screen
A projector and screen are available for video presentation via a VGA or HDMI connection.
Meeting Owl
Patrons can request to use a Meeting Owl. The Meeting Owl is a 360-degree camera, mic, and speaker for use to conduct virtual meetings. To use this device patrons will have to download and install a free app on a Smart Phone (Apple or Android).

Tech Center Classroom Use Policy
  • No fees may be charged and all meetings must be open to the public.
  • Confirmation from the library must be received by the requesting organization
    before a request can be considered scheduled.
  • Groups can schedule use of the TCC up to 90 days in advance with a minimum of 24-hours notice.
  • The individual or group reserving a meeting room will be responsible for the
    order and conduct of the group and for any loss or damage to library property.
  • Events in the TCC are limited to a maximum of 20 participants.
  • Set-up in the TCC is the responsibility of the group using the space. Users are
    responsible for cleaning up and returning the room to its pre-use condition before leaving.
  • If the Group Study Room is reserved, but the TCC is available, the TCC may be reserved on a walk-in, case-by-case basis for study groups following the same policy as the GSR.
  • If you would like to see the TCC before your meeting date, you must make an appointment by calling (614) 231-9709. Drop-in requests may not be accommodated
  • Groups must vacate the room 15 minutes before the library closes and are responsible
    for clean-up and returning the room to its original setup. Not doing so, damaging library
    property, or other destructive or inappropriate behavior will result in loss of the
    meeting rooms and/or library privileges, as determined by the supervisor.
  • The BPL Patron Code of Conduct applies and must be observed while using the rooms.
  • By reserving our auditorium or study rooms, you are agreeing to our Meeting Room Policy.
