Public Service Associate, Youth Services Focus

The Public Service Associate serves as a model of customer service and support, along with bringing a service-centered approach to all aspects of the role. Public Services Associates act as the first step in our mission, providing patrons with an exceptional library experience.
Primary duties include:
First point of contact for patron questions or inquiries.
Assisting with youth programming.
Locates, processes, and distributes library materials accurately and efficiently.
Providing reference and readers' advisory to youth and families.

SALARY: $16.11/ hour
SCHEDULE: 28 hours per week including one weekend every 3 weeks as follows:
Monday: 9-6
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 2-6
Thursday: 11-8
Friday: 9-6 OR every third Saturday 9-6 AND Sunday 1-5
