Volunteers are key to a vibrant library. Bexley Public Library volunteers help in areas such as material assistance, programming, and local history. A full position description is available below. Do you love working with kids? Sharing your love of reading or need service hours? Then, you should become a summer teen volunteer! From May 30-August 1, sign families up for Summer Community Read, hand out prizes, and assist with our summer programs. Teens must be at least 12 years old or entering grades 7-12 in the upcoming 2025-2026 school year to volunteer.
Application deadline is June 3. Applications will be considered in the order they are received. If accepted, volunteers must attend ONE of the following mandatory orientation dates listed below and turn in a code of conduct form before they can start volunteering.
