Please note: The Bexley Public Library will close today, April 2nd, at 3:30pm due to the impending inclement weather.
Plants clean the air and they also release oxygen. Let's celebrate National Houseplant Appreciation Day. Bring cuttings or find the plants you want at this big houseplant swap.
Plants are good for us. Plants clean the air and they also release oxygen.
Join us in celebrating National Houseplant Appreciation Day. Studies show that the natural humidity from indoor plants decreases problems with dry skin, even colds, and sore throats. Stop by the Library to pick up or swap plants and cuttings. This is the perfect time to trim your house plants. Leave cuttings, share plants no longer wanted, or find new plants to spread the benefits of plants on this day of appreciation. Bring cuttings in water or potted.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
