In this Winter Wellness talk, four local holistic practitioners will guide you through an array of ideas for keeping you and your family healthy this winter.

Rebecca Ness, licensed Acupuncturist and herbalist, will examine how several modalities including acupuncture, herbs, moxa, cupping and qigong can support you and your family during the cold winter months.

Betty Ann Su-Tok Brown will introduce you to the ancient preventative wellness system of Ayurveda, where each person’s unique constitution is carefully considered, and wellness modalities are specifically curated to meet each individual’s needs. Ayurveda recognizes the foundation to wellness is optimal digestion. Explore how culinary spices and herbs can be your ally for optimal digestion as you strive for wellness in your mind, body, and spirit.  

Kit Yoon will facilitate the connection between your mind and your body so you can take care of yourself from your own intuition which is the best inner healer of all.

Jennifer Ball will focus on immune supportive herbs and nutrients. She will also share some recipes and home practices for immune support as well.

Speaker Bios

Rebecca Ness, LAc, OM is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and Qigong instructor. She integrates many additional healing modalities including moxibustion, cupping, Shiatsu massage, nutritional counseling and supplements. In 2007, Rebecca received her MSTCM from The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California. Rebecca doesn’t treat symptoms, she treats people. Listening to her patients is the most important tool she uses in her acupuncture practice. She offers consistent, nurturing, attentive care in her quest to help patients find balance and whole health in their bodies and minds. Rebecca believes that helping individuals to feel healthy, both mentally and physically, supports them in living their ideal life. Kit Yoon is an integrative medicine Practitioner, inner voice facilitator and intuitive eating counselor. Kit’s been helping people tap into their own healing potential for over 20 years. Betty Ann Su-Tok Brown a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, receiving her training from California College Of Ayurveda and is the owner of B Well Ayurveda Health Coach, LLC.  She has trained and received certificates in meditation training, Reki Level 2, and Heart Centered Hypnotherapy.  Betty is also an experienced RN of 18 years, with a BS in Nursing from the University of Minnesota.  With Betty’s understanding of allopathic medicine and Ayurveda, along with her passion for cooking, she support clients with integrated wellness coaching.  Betty is a member of NAMA and currently pursuing her 200 hour yoga teacher training.  Find out more about Betty: bwellayurveda.com
