Celebrate the start of summer at our annual Kick-Off Party! Sign up for our summer reading program, enjoy fun activities, pick up some fun freebies, browse the pop-up book sale, and enter for a chance to win prizes.
Arrive by 5:00 PM to enter to win prizes such as Kings Island tickets, Summer Community Read t-shirts, and a Bluey Squishmallow!
One of our favorite characters, Bluey, will be here to greet participants and take photos from 4:00 - 5:30 PM.
The Alans will present an unforgettable magic adventure, starting at 5:00! Magicians Jason and Stacy Alan bring high-energy entertainment packed with laughter, interactive surprises, and jaw-dropping magic. With colorful props, mind-blowing tricks, and plenty of audience participation, this show is a must-see!

Library Parking & Entrance Information:
While the library's main entrance is under construction, we remain open. Clear signage will guide visitors to a temporary, fully accessible entrance via a ramp in the southeast alley, leading to the dock entrance.
The library parking lot also remains open, with temporary entry and exit available via Euclaire Avenue only. Parking may be limited, so we encourage you to arrive early and use street parking on Euclaire, Mound, and other nearby streets.

Bexley Public Library was founded in 1924 and first housed in Bexley High School, now Montrose Elementary School. The present building opened in 1929 and was designed by architects O.C. Miller and R.R. Reeves who drew upon French and Italian architecture from the 17th century for the design.
The library is located at 2411 East Main Street, at the intersection of East Main Street and Cassady Avenue. Parking is available in our parking lot on Euclaire Avenue and in front of the library on Main Street. Main Street is a No Parking Tow Zone from 4:00-6:00 p.m. weekdays.
