50th Anniversary of the Prague Spring

Primary tabs

Join us to commemorate the
50th anniversary of Prague Spring and the aftereffects of the Soviet invasion
of Czechoslovakia in 1968. The Prague Spring was a loosening of the
authoritarian political system, but the invasion would reinforce
totalitarianism for the next twenty years. Dr. Daniel Collins from The Ohio
State University will leading a fascinating lecture on the movement, its place
in history and the implications on today's politics.
