100 Years of Eileen Heckart

Bexley native and 1937 BHS graduate Eileen Heckart went on to have a career in stage and screen that spanned nearly 60 years, winning her an Emmy, a Tony, and an Academy Award. She was known for her roles in The Bad Seed, Butterflies are Free, and The First Wives Club. March 29 would have marked her 100th birthday. To celebrate, Beth Kattelman, Curator of Theatre for OSU's Lawrence and Lee Theatre Research Institute, will talk about Heckart's life and work, showcasing items from her collection at the institute.
