Culture + Conversation: The Japanese Internment with Karen Jiobu

Karen Jiobu was one of 117,000 Americans of Japanese descent relocated to an internment camp during WWII. Along with clips from the PBS documentary Children of the Camps, Jiobu will share her own memories of this time. Join the Bexley Minority Parent Alliance and Bexley Public Library for this next program in the Culture + Conversation series, aimed at telling the stories and celebrating the cultures of diverse members of our community.

Tweens/Teens ages 11-17 are invited to an afternoon of gaming fun at the library. We will have video games on the big screen, Minecraft on PC, board games, a Dungeons & Dragons table, card games and more set up in the auditorium. No registration is required, so drop in and check out what we have to offer!
