Need to Know Before You Go: How to Protect Yourself in College.

Don't just prepare for college academically, but make sure you or your student are ready for all the responsibilities, opportunities, and challenges college can bring. Join Bexley's own Lawyers for Students as they discuss the rights and responsibilities of a college student. They will share real life stories and give practical advice on: 1) Student and academic codes of conduct; 2) Criminal offenses students commonly face; 3) The role of disability services and how this can apply to every student; and 4) Sexual misconduct. This is ideal for both parents and their 11th or 12th graders to attend. While topics may be uncomfortable, it is better to Know Before You Go. Join us for an advice packed session, and we promise to get some smiles along the way.
