Alfred Tibor: The Sculptor

Ann Shifflet, Adjunct Instructor at Columbus College of Art and Design, will look at the life and work of sculptor Alfred Tibor, a longtime resident of Bexley before his passing earlier this year.  Alfred Tibor was born in Hungary and survived the Holocaust before moving to the United States.  His sculptures are evocative works that explore his experiences as a Jewish man during World War II, but also address the themes of humanity, hope and compassion. Shifflet will discuss Tibor's life and look at the many examples of his work that can be found throughout the Columbus area.
